Hate LockDown At The HuffPo

It's very rare and very telling when the Huffington Post features a story that does not allow readers to post comments. The Share/Comment button leads to a dead end.

The reason Arianna does this from to time to time is because she knows how her Digital Brownshirts will react.

This all started when the media reported on an attempted assassination of VP Cheney during a recent trip to Afghanistan. The moonbats at the HuffPo went beserk, posting vile comments that expressed their disappointment that the Vice President of their country was not killed. Lot's of bad press with that one.

So, Arianna is taking no chances this time.
No comments allowed on this story.

You see, real Americans tend to question your patriotism when you root for the enemy to kill our elected leaders.

And Nobody is going to question Arianna's patriotism.

KILL CHENEY

The HuffPo got a BIG slapdown from Rush Limbaugh today.
Arianna had posted a story about the assassination attempt on VP Cheney in Afghanistan. The HuffPo readers comments section was CHOCK FULL of remarks lamenting the fact that the VP of The United States was not killed in the attack.

Rush read comment after deranged comment from the HuffPo moonbats who were quite explicit in their displeasure over the VP's unfortunate survival. Not the kind of comments they want the average MAINSTREAM American to hear....the last thing the Left needs is for Americans to see them for what they really are; hating America, hating capitalism, and hating Christians, hating our leadership.

Not just disagreeing.....but, HATING.

Here's the great part:
Notice that there are only 12 comments listed and there is a message stating that 'COMMENTS ARE CLOSED".
They actually had to delete HUNDREDS of lunatic messages and they only wound up with TWELVE that were keepers. They are laughable; "Thank God Cheney wasn't hurt".

Arianna knew that this made her and her sicko Hate-Bush readership look like the leftist extremists that they are.

So, Arianna got the crew out there quick, pulling down the dirty laundry before the rest of America could see the skidmarks in their 'truthiness'.

San Fran Nan went into liberal crybaby mode after Cheney stated that the Dem strategy of denying funding for the troops 'validates Al Qaeda's strategy'.

He didn't say anything about patriotism and Nan knows it. The facts are clear: If we don't complete the mission we have failed. If we fail, Al Qaeda wins. It's really quite simple.
Here's what he said:
"I think if we were to do what Speaker Pelosi and Congressman Murtha are suggesting, all we will do is validate the al-Qaida strategy," the vice president told ABC News. "The al-Qaida strategy is to break the will of the American people ... try to persuade us to throw in the towel and come home, and then they win because we quit."

And Al Qaeda is banging their heads on the floor and praying to Allah that the Dems prevail.

Is there anybody out there who would deny that?

What does Nan do? She actually tries to call the President to whine about Cheney's comments. I'm sure that after being put on hold for an appropriate amount of time, the White House operator informed her that, "The President has more pressing issues to deal with. Thanks for calling...."

This is the same lame liberal strategy that's been used countless times already; If somebody attacks your ideas then you should claim that they are questioning your patriotism.

Read the article for yourself. Nowhere does Cheney question anybody's patriotism.

UPDATE:

During Friday's interview in Sydney with ABC News, Cheney said, "I'm not sure what part of it is that Nancy disagreed with. She accused me of questioning her patriotism. I didn't question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment."

"You also have to be accountable for the results. What are the consequences of that? What happens if we withdraw from Iraq?," he said. "And the point I made and I'll make it again is that al-Qaida functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That's their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we'll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of al-Qaida. I said it and I meant it."

Asked if he was willing to take back his criticism of Pelosi, Cheney replied, "I'm not backing down."

How many people have been charged with leaking a 'covert' (not) agents' name to the media?
Zero.
No Karl Rove in orange jumpsuit. No smoking gun linking Cheney.
Zero.

Another liberal assassination plot fails to bear fruit.

"We're a day late in getting responses to the story," Rove told a staff meeting, according to Libby's notes. "Get the full story out," Cheney told aides, according to Libby's grand jury testimony.

And by 'full story' he meant counteract the lies that Joey was out spreading to the media.
One was that he had been sent to Niger by Cheney, when in fact it was nepotism that got him the gig. Why did he lie?
Second, the report he turned in to the govt varied quite a bit from the fairy tale he told the NYT. The Commission determined that Wilson's yellowcake story didn't hold water and they stood by the original intelligence assessment.

So, an angry Cheney asks, "Why is the media giving Joe a free pass and helping to spread his distortions?"
"Get the FULL story out."

Now, we wouldn't want that, would we? When republicans fight back, they are labeled an 'attack machine' by the libtardos.

Why go with the actual quote when you can slant the news by making up the quote?
It's another HuffPo headline that bears little resemblance to the truth. Cheney said the premise of Wolf Blitzer's question was hogwash. He certainly did not say that criticism of him was hogwash.

Why can't the Left ever tell the truth?

BLITZER: Here's what Jim Webb, senator from Virginia said in the Democratic response last night -- he said, "The president took us into this war recklessly. We are now, as a nation, held hostage to the predictable and predicted disarray that has followed."

And it's not just Jim Webb; it's some of your good Republican friends in the Senate and the House are now seriously questioning your credibility, because of the blunders and the failures. Gordon Smith...

CHENEY: Wolf, Wolf, I simply don't accept the premise of your question. I just think it's hogwash.
