HuffPo Sees All, Knows All

Dr Sara said: "I have no scientific data but, as an observer, there seems to be a huge increase along the Sicilian coast. I feel that temperature increase and over-fishing are related to this though, at the moment, this is only my feeling." link

The article says many factors play into the huge jellyfish population; nutrients in the water, commercial fishing, and changing ocean tides.
Yet, the HuffPo states as fact that global warming is the cause de facto of the jellyfish explosion. Emotions and feelings trump all logic in the liberal brain.

so, according to your own methodology, i.e. headlines = advocacy....

Huffpo Sees All, Knows all.

Brilliant!

Do you think before you post this nonesense?

Lets pretend I've misread both your response and Huffpost's offering, You say:

Yet, the HuffPo states as fact that global warming is the cause de facto of the jellyfish explosion.

Where exactly do they do this? Assuming you can point it out, how does advocating such an idea show that emotions and feelings trump logic in the liberal brain?

At some point you've either got to get over the headline thing. Even yours are misleading. Mine are often misleading as well, we all write headlines to grab attention, often it includes salient points of the item in question, sometimes they are done toungue in cheek, as I assume your headline for this one was, sometimes they are direct quotes from whatever is being discussed, sometimes they are completely nonsensical.

oh hey, find any conservative news outlets or group blogs that actually allow comments? I've still not found any.
:(

This line:

At some point you've either got to get over the headline thing.

At some point you've got to get over the headline thing.

ummm. the headline, joe. It says "GLOBAL WARMING FUELS JELLYFISH INVASION"

Often, headlines are the only part of the story that the retards at the HuffPo read. They cant be bothered with facts and the HuffPo is an expert at misleading headlines.

okay then but as I already stated, by that methodology you advocate by your own use of headlines:

"Huffpo Sees All, Knows All"

That's pretty generous of you.

I doubt it's what you intend, but why do you get to be judged by one set of standards, but the website that provides 90% of your posts is held to a completely different standard?

Because it is MY headline, Joe. It is MY opinion. Its cynicism.

I didn't take the headline from another news source and rewrite it like the HuffPo does so that it means something completely different from what the original author intended to convey. If you cant see the dishonesty in that....well....
