It's going to be really, really hard to get out of there in a timely manner. The systems and security need to be in place so that the vacuum left behind by our departure does not cause a thunderclap of civil war.
I think there are three types of "Progressive" Liberals.
1. Those who know they are spreading socialistic lies and continue to do so for their own self centered purposes.
2. Those who really believe the socialistic lies they spread because they have no grasp of history or reality. This group is in deep denial (not the river in Egypt) & when shown the truth they will lash out with profanities as a defense mechanism.
3. Those "Progressive Liberals" who are good people and have been misled by the lies of the left. These folks will gladly give up "Progressive Liberalism" once they are told and understand the immutable truth that socialism is wrong.
