Disproportionate Response?
"The European Union is greatly concerned about the disproportionate use of force by Israel in Lebanon in response to attacks by Hezbollah on Israel," said a statement issued by Finland, which holds the EU's rotating presidency. "The presidency deplores the loss of civilian lives and the destruction of civilian infrastructure. The imposition of an air and sea blockade on Lebanon cannot be justified."
You see, liberals believe that if somebody threatens to kill your family and then sucker-punches you in the face when you are looking the other way, you are allowed to hit back only ONCE.
Then you are supposed to stand there with your hands at your sides and wait for the next blow, to which your response must be equal or less.
It's a good thing we didn't think that way 60 years ago.
