Dem Uses Addicts As Phoney Support Base

Josh Rales, a Democratic candidate for Maryland's U.S. Senate seat, paid a drug-treatment center in Baltimore to drive its recovering addicts to last week's debate in College Park, where they held signs supporting his campaign.
About 20 patients from the I Can't, We Can (ICWC) drug-treatment and counseling center in northwest Baltimore attended the debate, said Adrian Harpool, president of the 21st Century Group, a Baltimore public-relations firm hired by the Rales campaign to recruit volunteers.

Now, that is INTERESTING. I always wondered where all those people with signs came from.

T.L. makes a good point here - Plus it would have been more environmentally friendly had they used felons at the rally. They could have saved fuel by having a one way trip.

I can see it now. All of 'em dropping the signs and making a run for it.

I am sorry and although I am not a dem I believe the problem is politicians. Dems and Reps serve their own interest pocketing as much as possible without truly representing "We the people".

Personally I would like to see a representative government from the working world. Someone who may not have the same ideas I do but that will vote in the best interest of the people he represents.

I know is is difficult and probably just fantasy but my next vote goes for Mickey Mouse!

Joe, the drug addicts would happily have gone and held signs for whomever paid them to do so. Thats the point. They were PAID for their support, they didnt call his campaign HQ and ask, 'how can we help?'.

If a thousand people showed up outside Rush Limbaugh's studio holding signs that say, "WE SUPPORT YOU! WE LOVE YOU RUSH!!" and then you found out that Rush paid all of them to be there, you would be the first one screaming that Rush has no integrity.
