Bush Addresses NAACP - HuffPo Plays Race Card

"I consider it a tragedy that the party of Abraham Lincoln let go of its historical ties with the African-American community," Bush said. "For too long, my party wrote off the African-American vote, and many African-Americans wrote off the Republican Party."
"It's a lot easier to change a law than to change a human heart. And I understand that many African-Americans distrust my political party." ( a bit different than the misleading headling from the HuffPo)
But many in the convention center stood and clapped when he urged the Senate to renew a landmark civil rights law passed in the 1960s to end racist voting practices, such as poll taxes and literacy tests, in Southern states.

The Senate passed the bill (unanimously) later Thursday and sent it to the White House.

No matter what the President does, he can't win with the moonbat left. They accused him of being racist in earlier years for not addressing the convention.

Now that he has addressed them, the wingbats are even more convinced that he is a racist. Whenever the president goes anywhere or does anything the libtards cry "PHOTO OP!"

Here's how the enlightened HuffPo readers reacted to Bush extending the olive branch to the NAACP:

Wow. Well into your second term and this is the golden nugget you came up with? Fuck you, Chimpy Mcflight suite. You go to hell and die!!!!

I just saw a few seconds of President Shitstain's speech on PBS, but it sounded like phoney applause, like 2 people close to the mics clapping real hard.

Bush and the Republicans already have the African-American vote... their votes get magically changed from Democratic to Republican right in the Diebold electronic voting booths.

They shoud have been polite and then booed him off the "stage." Another photo op for the idiot? Did he have black friends growing up? Did he have Jewish friends?
By: PhillyCook on July 20, 2006 at 08:47pm

What do you expect when you don't count their votes???

By: rbfbeerguy on July 20, 2006 at 08:56pm

Hey Bush, FUCK YOU BASTARD. You are a lying sack of shit so take that to your confederate flag waving mentally ill freaks that believe the lies that come from your pie hole!!
By: chronic on July 20, 2006 at 09:12pm

This asshole is so inappropriate, I can't understand why he didn't go in blackface.
They must not hate him like I do or he would have been booed off the stage.

Could it be that this is his pathetic attempt to get black people to vote for his pathetically racist, bigoted, KKK group of neo-cons in November? Dumbfuck, please go to the Mideast instead of sending your lover, Condi. With any luck, a rocket will hit you and our long nightmare will be over.
By: sarge311 on July 20, 2006 at 09:17pm

You stole two elections by kicking innocent black folk off of the voter roles and by going to a racist, crooked ,supreme court and stopping the counting of our votes. then you hire and parade around uncle toms like colin powell and cunny rice, infuriating us further. we will never trust your sorry ass.

Surprise "W" you do not have to be a person of color to not trust you and your political fascist party! By: LibertyWatch on July 21, 2006 at 08:09am

"As for the remarks which are often cuastic, is it really so different than the conservative sites that allow comments? I cant see how."

YES, there is a big difference. I cannot find a mainstream conservative political site that has language remotely similar to the hate espoused by these loons.

I've looked, Joe. And please dont come back with some link to a KKK site or white supremacy site, we know those people are whackjobs, just point me to a conservative political site that espouses hatred on the same level as these freaks.

"Libtard", and "moonbat" pale in comparison to the terms they use.

Hey for that matter, point my to a conservative site where people defend Hezbollah, and praise the braveness of Zarqawi.
