A Culture of WHINERS

Is there possibly anything that liberals won't bitch about? Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi is a big fan of Elvis Presley, an American icon, and he requested a tour of Graceland. So President Bush arranged the trip and apparently a good time was had by all. That's what you do out of respect for visiting heads of state and dignitaries.

The idiots at the Huffington Post thought otherwise. The bitching and moaning by The Left is reaching a crescendo and quite frankly, it's embarrassing to watch.

First off, the HuffPo attacks Tony Snow for wearing Elvis sunglasses during the tour. "Tony Snow Dresses Up Again". This was obviously in reference to him wearing protective armor during a helicopter tour in Iraq. I guess their logic is that if you are visiting Iraq, you don't need to wear a helmet or protective gear because you are in no danger.

Here's what the enlightened members of The Left had to say about a friggin visit to Graceland. If they will complain about entertaining a Head of State, what will they NOT whine about?

Elvis was a drug addict who lost control and wasn't able to take charge of his life for himself or for his child. When he was young, he inspired. When he got older he perspired. When he took drugs, he expired. It's that simple.

A bunch of southern Gomers and a Japanese tourist doing the "Elvis Tour". Now, that's a class act. No wonder the whole world hates Americans.

Was it we, the taxpayers, who paid millions of dollars for this Elvis trip?
