Rep. William Jefferson, (D-Corruption), under investigation for bribery was caught on videotape accepting $100,000 in $100 bills from an FBI informant whose conversations with the lawmaker also were recorded, according to a court document released Sunday. Agents later found the cash hidden in his freezer.Here's the good part: He told the undercover FBI agent he was going to use all the money to bribe a Nigerian vice-president. When the FBI agent called him later, Jefferson told him that all the money had been given to the bribee.
But he didn't do that. It was in his freezer.
Nancy and Harry: Looks like you have plenty of corruption of your own to worry about...
