While Exxon made $8.4 billion this first quarter and the networks screamed greed, the federal government took $7 billion from Exxon at the same time plus another $7.6 billion in excise taxes.EXXON MAKES: 8.4 Billion

This is just one oil company in one quarter. The idiots in Congress are pulling a con job on it's citizens. While they are grandstanding for photo-ops at gas stations and complaining about the high cost of gas, we are taking it in the ass, entirely because of their inaction.
Now China is going to set up shop off of Cuba and use slant drilling to extract the oil from areas where we aren't allowed to drill. Our entire government is comprised of fools. Our nation is comprised of gullible fools.

Just wait, China won't soon forgive or forget Iraq. They're due to make an endaround through the oil rich nations in Africa.
I should also point out that Electronic Arts profit margin is higher than Exxon's. In fact, the oil companies profit margins are in line with other industries.
It's about supply and demand.
We demand, and we dont supply.
