Lies And The Lying Liars of The Left

The Left will never win another election by being honest. Its all about rewriting history, rewriting headlines, and reprogramming the gullible. Take this latest example from the liars of the Left, the above screen capture from the HuffPo. You would get the impression from the headline that Bush was out and about waving the Mexican flag and that conservative columnist Robert Novak was criticizing the president for his actions. But Robert Novak wasn't referring to President Bush, he was referring to the spectacle of hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens protesting in our streets and waving Mexican flags. The Dems can't understand why that bothers the average American.

The HuffPo gleefully reports: But President Bush himself has publicly brandished the Mexican flag. ThinkProgress has obtained a copy of a five-minute ad that the 2004 Bush campaign distributed to Hispanic supporters. In the ad, Bush can be seen waving a Mexican flag while embracing a young girl.

OOOO! Big breaking story from ThinkProgress. They've somehow managed to obtain a copy of a 5 minute ad targeting the Hispanic demograhic. I'll bet that was a tough job for their sleuths. The diabolical George Bush captured in action waving the Mexican flag and dividing America's loyalty.

Except for one small detail....It's a Cinco de Mayo Parade in Texas. It's a parade celebrating Mexico's independence!! Just about EVERBODY had a Mexican flag to wave at the parade. It's a tradition. It's a part of Mexican culture that has been embraced by Americans, just as we have embraced other cultural celebrations like Octoberfest and St. Patricks Day. It means celebrating with parades, food, drink, parties, and flags.

The Left wants to twist that image into something ugly and untrue.

This is what they have to resort to now. The truth doesn't matter. What is good for the country doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is getting back in power by any means neccessary.
They don't have any aces left up their sleeves so now they are just laying their pair of '2s on the board for all to see and saying "Look at my Full House. I win!"

In an effort to make it clear what we are dealing with, here is one of the very first comments from a moonbat posting at the HuffPo concerning this non-story. This is how they practice tolerance when they think nobody is watching...

Look, he was just waving the flag because he wanted to fuck the retarded girl in the picture. After he left her side his goons grabbed her and threw her into a van and delivered him to the Crawford ranch for some "recreation." By: MoeLarryAndJesus on April 04, 2006 at 11:03pm

Remember, they think their views are mainstream...

It never ceases to amaze me on how the left continues to think they are correct when they spin things like this. Is their ideology something that is more important than getting the facts straight? Is their ideology something that should be followed when it is shown time and again that they lie to spread their point of view.

Not to mention that the liberal side has more adherants that are tasteless and crude.

Hey, thanks for quoting my comment as though it were a serious, factual observation and thus revealing how humorless you Bushpigs are.

Now run along and tell your pals what a great senator Ricky Santorum is.
