It infuriates me when I hear the argument that America is really the Mexicans ancestral lands. As I've said before, the interlopers who sneak across our border are not interested in being a part of America. They just want to be a part of the economy. They dont want to reclaim 'their lands', they want what we have built on that land. There is not a nation on Earth whose borders havent been decided by conflict, Mexico included.

Today the HuffPo has proto-marxist wingnut Tony Hendra penning a blog titled, Immigrants? It's Their Country.

Somewhere Texans, Arizonans et al seem to have gotten the impression that they actually have a right to live on the lands their grandfathers stole at the point of a gun.

This is even more hilarious when the bloviator in question belongs to the party nominally led by the cretin from Crawford who is not just an immigrant like the rest of us, but – despite his faux-cracker accent - the son of a carpetbagger.

When Marx identified the bourgeoisie as the prime enemy he got it exactly right. You don’t have to subscribe to the rest of his ideas to thank him for that.

So, a family that originally lived in the Northeast US. moves and then starts a new life in Texas during the second half of the 20th century and they are considered carpetbaggers.
And illegal aliens who sneak across our border should have rose petals strewn in their path.

What if they arent Mexican? What if they are Hezbollah?

FBI Director Robert Mueller said this week that his agency busted a smuggling ring organized by the terrorist group Hezbollah that had operatives cross the Mexican border to carry out possible terrorist attacks inside the U.S.

"This was an occasion in which Hezbollah operatives were assisting others with some association with Hezbollah in coming to the United States,” Mueller told a House Appropriations subcommittee during a Tuesday hearing on the FBI's budget.

And they want us to actually consider voting Democrat this year? I dont think so....
